Terms of Service

These Terms are an agreement between you and Munorr 2ky Inc. (“M2KY”, “we”, “us”), a company based in Ontario, Canada. They cover m2ky.com and everything we sell or give out through it, including:

• our software: BGEN Picker (all editions, including Lite and Studio), BGEN Hair, BGEN Hair Full and its Element Extensions (such as Feathers, Scales, Hair Accessories and Greenery), BGEN Hair Studio plans, and any other add-on we release;
• the content that ships with that software, such as presets, hairstyles, card textures and feather, scale and bead sets (“Included Content”);
• voluntary contributions to M2KY.studio productions.

By creating an account, completing a purchase or contribution, or installing our software, you agree to these Terms. If you buy for a company, you agree on its behalf and confirm you're allowed to.

Hairstyles and other assets that independent creators sell on BGEN Library are licensed under the terms shown on BGEN Library and on each listing, not under section 3.

Licences are attached to your BGEN account (your email address). Keep your sign-in secure and your email current. An account is for one person: don't share it, or the licences on it, with anyone else. You're responsible for what happens under your account.

Every licence includes commercial use. When you buy BGEN Picker, BGEN Hair, BGEN Hair Full or an Element Extension, we grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, perpetual licence for one person to install and use it for personal and commercial work: client projects, games, films, animation, renders, and products and services you sell.

• Individual licences are for one named person. Install the software on computers you personally use. Some tools limit how many computers can be activated at once (BGEN Hair: three); you can deactivate a computer to free its place.
• Studio licences(Team and Site) give the same rights to the number of seats in your plan, for people working at or for your organization. The buyer manages seats from their account, can move a seat to another person, and a removed seat stops working. A Site plan covers artists at one studio, including contractors while they work on that studio's projects.
• Element Extensions need BGEN Hair to run. BGEN Hair Full includes the Element Extensions available today and the ones we release for BGEN Hair for as long as we continue to offer it.
• Free, trial and early-access builds may have the limits described on their product page. Beta and early-access builds are for testing and may change or be withdrawn.

We keep all rights in the software and Included Content that these Terms don't expressly give you.

Everything you create with our tools (scenes, rigs, pickers, grooms, simulations, renders and exported files) belongs to you. We claim no ownership of it and no share of what you earn from it.

Included Content can be used inside your projects and in the results you deliver, including commercial renders, films and games, where it's rendered, exported, baked or built into your work. What you can't do is sell, share or redistribute Included Content on its own, or as part of an asset pack, preset collection or library, or use it to train machine-learning models.

• Resell, rent, sublicense, share or give away the software, a licence, or an account.
• Redistribute the add-ons or their code, publicly or privately, or repackage them as your own.
• Remove, bypass or tamper with licence checks, or reverse-engineer the software to do so, except where the law allows it regardless of these Terms.
• Use the software or our services to break the law or infringe anyone's rights.

Where an add-on's code comes with its own open-source licence, that licence governs the code itself. It doesn't cover your BGEN account or licence, our servers and online services, Included Content, the BGEN Library, or the BGEN and M2KY names and logos, which these Terms still cover.

Prices are in US dollars and are one-time payments unless a product page says otherwise. Payments are processed by Stripe or PayPal; we never see or store your full card details. Launch prices, upgrade credits (such as paying the difference for BGEN Hair Full) and owner discounts apply as shown at checkout, can end, and can't be combined unless checkout shows them together. We may change prices for future purchases; it doesn't affect what you've already bought. Any taxes that apply are added at checkout.

Delivery is digital: downloads and licences appear on your account, and Element Extensions install inside BGEN Hair. There's no physical product. Purchases include free updates to that product for as long as we develop it, unless its page says otherwise. New paid products and extensions are sold separately unless your plan includes them.

Our software checks your licence with our servers when you sign in, activate a computer or look for updates, and from time to time after that. We may deactivate a licence after a refund or chargeback, or if these Terms are seriously or repeatedly broken.

Because our products are delivered instantly, refunds are limited; see our Refund Policy. A refunded or charged-back purchase ends the licence it paid for (for a Studio plan, every seat on it).

Contributions to M2KY.studio are voluntary support for independent production work. They do not purchase ownership, creative control, rewards, credits, a share of future revenue, or any guarantee that a production will be completed or released. M2KY is not a charitable organization, so contributions are not represented as tax-deductible charitable gifts.

You're responsible for the reviews, replies and other content you post. You let us show them on our sites and in our marketing, with your display name. Keep them honest and respectful; we may remove content that is abusive, misleading, spam or off-topic.

Our add-ons run inside Blender and Maya. Blender is a trademark of the Blender Foundation and Maya is a trademark of Autodesk; we aren't affiliated with or endorsed by either. Payments, sign-in, hosting and email are provided by third parties (such as Stripe, PayPal, Google and Supabase) under their own terms.

The software and Included Content are provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. We work hard to make them reliable, but we can't guarantee they will be error-free, work with every version of Blender or Maya, or fit every pipeline. Always keep backups of your work.

To the extent permitted by law, M2KY's total liability for any claim relating to our software or services is limited to the amount you paid for the product the claim is about. We aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profits, data or work.

You can stop using our software at any time. If you seriously or repeatedly break these Terms, we may end your licence and close your account. Sections 4, 5 and 12 to 16 continue to apply after that.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. This doesn't take away any consumer rights you have under the laws of where you live.

We may update these Terms as our products change. The date at the top shows the latest version, and material changes apply to purchases and use from that date. A change never reduces the scope of a licence you already bought.
